First was media posts of Helen Reddy passing. I scurried onto YouTube to find a few of her hit songs back in the day, because while I wasn’t a particular follower of her work, her work was a very memorable part of my early teen/post childhood times. And with my way of having memories tied to soundtracks, her music surely brought many flooding back.
And then Mac Davis passed, or news of his passing. It put me into an even longer period of reminiscing while playing YouTube videos of his stuff that I remember. Wow. So long ago. Memories of fun, safe, innocent times in life.
