I haven’t seen this flower/plant since I was a small kid, growing up on Guam. I never knew why they call it Taki Biha. Maybe someone can comment and explain…
The one time I can almost vividly remember seeing and playing with them, I must have been no older than 5 years old. There was a wooden raised deck, remnant floor and foundation of an old wooden house that was long destroyed by a typhoon, in the neighborhood next to the Santos’ old house. As kids we used to play on that flooring and there were taki biha plants starting to grow over it. We’d pull the yellow flowers off and throw them at each other or something.
Do u know the English and scientific name of this flower?
No I don’t, sorry.
