KUAM history/60th Anniversary video

I found this while poking around YT. Having been away for decades, going home for an 18-month stint in the late 90s, and then leaving again, I’ve noticed the comparative production of KUAM and the Guam stations with other places. Guam stations look much more “amateur” in broadcast delivery. But in my mind, that is what endears those stations, KUAM in particular since it was the only station in town when I was a child, to my heart.…

Santana Concert

This evening was the Santana concert we bought tickets for… me, Lina, and Noel. We left the house at about 6pm, ate dinner at Jack in the Box in Kunia, then headed down. Parking at the Blasidell was full so we had to circle and then finally parked at McKinley HS in the back grass lot on the other side of the fence from the Blaisdell parking structure.…

Video clip: Remembering Guam

This video is a series produced for the memoir and cookbook, Remember Guam, by Paula Ann Lujan Quinene. The pictures were shared with Paula by John Rabon in 2006 and given to Paula by Clyde Hogan in 2008 as part of her work on the book.
