I must say that mere congratulations is not enough. Not only did Hawaii win the Little League World Series, but they dominated their entire elimination bracket all the way to the final game.
They swept all 6 of their games. Of those 6 games:
4 mercy rule wins
3 shutouts
vs curacao mercy rule win 13-3
vs northwest mercy rule win 11-1
vs metro region mercy rule shutout 12-0
vs southeast mercy rule shutout 13-0
vs southwest shutout 6-0
vs southeast 5-1

Last night’s classroom work.
Just a mention on Sweet Pea’s passing. I’m not a boxing aficionado, critic, or anything like that. I just remember watching boxing more avidly back when Whittaker, Biggs, etc., came out pro after their Olympics stints. Some of the more memorable fighters of that period.

I didn’t pay to watch the Manny Pacquiao vs Adrien Broner fight live 3 weekends ago. I waited until the following weekend and watched it free. But in doing so, I began to recount his glory and crazy ass wins the last 15 years or more and the ones we as a family watched, almost like cult followers.
