Late lunch at Tai Sei

Almost every time we happen to be in town and a meal is in order, we think of and quickly agree to have grindz at Tai Sei. WE frequented the place much more back int eh day when Lou worked across the street from it and we had many more reasons to be town side. Now, not so much.

This occasion was because we drove into Waikiki to drop off some carry items for Sabrina with her son Rai, who was staying at the Pagoda Waikiki Hotel.…

Getting a breather from the Stay at Home Mindset

Lou and I decided to get out of the house this weekend, in efforts to resume getting out more on the weekends as we used to do before COVID restrictions.

We got up early and went to the Kapiolani Community College Farmers Market which they have every weekend on Diamond Head Road. We walked thru, checking out all the concessions, buying a few things (local honey to send to Lina).…

Poor service @ Ruby Tuesday Kapolei on our Sunday breakfast outing

Ahhh again, the empty nesters convenience of getting up and going as we please! Lou and I were in the mood for eggs benedict this morning, so we decided to go to Ruby Tuesday. Road trip around the island

Lou and I went on a day’s outing. We first talked about taking in a movie, or going to Waterfront Plaza and checking out a food bank fundraiser going on today. I didn’t care for any of the movies on the circuit. We ended up doing a round the island (north and windward side anyway) drive. Starting out at, oh about 11:30am, we went up thru Wahiawa and north shore, Kahuku, down the windward side thru Laie, Hauula, Waiahole, then up Likelike back to town side.…
