Two weeks after the reflooring was completed and we have slowly moved the furniture and everything back in from the lanai, I took a look at how things blend. I’m a functional perspective person and matching/blending comes a distant second to me. So Lou picked out the flooring. I think it looks good.

Arthur and Charlie came today to finish up the reflooring. Sam came this past Wednesday and finished laying the vinyl planks, and today Arthur and Charlie took measurements, went to Home depot (or Lowe’s) and got the baseboards, the cut, painted and installed them. All done! Now we just have to bring … Continue Reading
Redoing the home flooring continued today as Arthur does the job on weekends. He and his guys (Sam and Charlie) did floor sanding/smoothing and sealing (minor cracks and the joints in the concrete slab floor), and then started laying the flooring.

With today being Saturday and no fixed agenda planned beforehand, I decided to inventory things to do. I decided, with Lou’s persuasion of course, to hang up the plaques and other things I have long intended to put up on the walls of the office room. Wow that was pretty much an all day thing. But, prior to … Continue Reading
