Chilling at the mall. Aylah and Loula tagged along with me when I went to TCCoH for my treatment. They went to the mall side and got doughnuts 🙂

2023 is here. We did a small dinner/BBQ last night with Justin and fam over, and of course Peaches and fam here for the holidays. We took photos of the family and the kids of course.
We (Lou, me, Elora, Aylah, and Stephan) went to Pearlridge SC for my radiation treatment. They went into the mall while I had my treatment. Afterwards we went to Kamakana Ali’i Mall in Kapolei and took the kids to Kids City for about an hour. We picked up late lunch on the way home.

Lou and I felt like eating somewhere for breakfast and having some eggs benedict. We went to Denny’s in Kapolei but it was super crowded, so we went on to Ruby Tuesday.
Lou’s first cousins Mary Salas Chaco and Beda Coke came to visit their brother Larry (Encho) who lives here with his daughter. Mary came from Washington, Beda from Texas. The two of them stayed with us. We went to lunch at Jade Dynasty at Ala Moana Mall to meet Encho and his daughter.
“I recorded this one with mom in mind. Part of the reason I strive to sing as I do is because of my mom. She doesnt often sing, but it’s magic every time she does. Music, specifically singing, runs in the family – lookin’ at you, Salas/Mendiola cousins ✨. I’m just happy to carry on the tradition into the Sarusal family.”
“I’ve been down with throat issues for the last two weeks. Which means my “man voice” has been activated! Lower range singing while it lasts 🎉
To continue the trend of me singing/listening to songs about going home, here’s a short portion of my favorite island song. Enjoy. Ku’u Home O Kahalu’u.”
