It was a sad and shocking discovery. I was looking at some Facebook friend profiles and came across Carmen (Lujan) Watson’s, and decided to look thru her friend list since she hadn’t posted on her timeline since February. I was curious is all. I looked at her son Royce’s timeline and he mentioned celebration of life for her in March. What!!! But no other details. I worked my musing around to Carmen’s husband Rob’s profile. She passed away March 13!!! I followed info to a GoFundMe page. Totally blindsided by this news.
I knew Carmen thru Lou. She and Lou were pretty good friends when she and the kids were on Guam while I was doing my (Army active duty) unaccompanied tour in Korea. Carmen, Lou, and Nate seemed to be the running buddies at the time.
