Recline in your airplane seat? A debate rages in the skies and online
I’m not a seasoned traveller or anything, but I have flown a bit. Over the years, since the wide bodied spacious Pan Am 747 flights to today’s sardine can atmosphere of passengers being squeezed together, it’s definitely changed. And the attitudes, the lack of courtesy and friendliness of passengers toward each other, have adjusted accordingly.
I say the passenger has the absolute right to recline his/her seat, the airline seat having that capability to do so. They should no need to ask permission from the passenger behind them. Period! If the passenger behind has an issue with that, take it up with the airline! Or they should have bought a first class seat!
