Lou and I were in town today and decided to have lunch at Tai Sei Ramen on Beretania, as we almost always do anytime we’re in town. Good thing we did. They are closing next week Friday for good! The owner is retiring and another restaurant business will be taking over the location, and they aren’t hiring on the existing staff.
How sad. We’ve been coming here for decades. We had dinner after Lina’s high school graduation at Tai Sei, as well as other occasions of celebration. Wow….
We had our “usual”. Lou had hot sauce yakisoba and side of cutlet. I had bell pepper yakisoba with pork, 4-piece fried gyoza, and miso soup.
