got activated for assistance with COVID-19 efforts. I saw on social media some people commenting that, oh, at least it’s not a real deployment (referencing danger). Think about it though. With COVID-19 assistance and containment efforts, it’s even MORE dangerous. They’re like the first responders, on the scene and breaching that 6-feet social distancing in order to do their jobs and help people. Screening, testing, whatever. That puts them in potential immediate health danger. The “enemy” cannot be seen, its attack isn’t even heard in its approach. Its impact upon assault isn’t felt for days, weeks. No, this is dangerous.
