‘A Day in the Life’ notes whenever I feel like it… some on broadcast, some just under the radar… many transcribed from old handwritten and journals. Some of possible general interest or interest to fam/friends; most probably not but just for my own journaling. A lot restricted to just my own journaling.
2023 is here. We did a small dinner/BBQ last night with Justin and fam over, and of course Peaches and fam here for the holidays. We took photos of the family and the kids of course.
We (Lou, me, Elora, Aylah, and Stephan) went to Pearlridge SC for my radiation treatment. They went into the mall while I had my treatment. Afterwards we went to Kamakana Ali’i Mall in Kapolei and took the kids to Kids City for about an hour. We picked up late lunch on the way home.
We did the normal opening of presents under the tree thing late this morning. Then in the afternoon we went to Mom’s house to visit for a while. Merry Christmas!!
We had a Christmas Eve dinner, a small gathering. Only Justin and Aylah came (Elora caught a bug so wasn’t feeling well, and Rachelle then stayed home too. Kaley caught COVID so was staying home.) Vangie, and Michael’s parents came. Unfortunately we didn’t (forgot???) take pictures of the evening events.…

Lou and I felt like eating somewhere for breakfast and having some eggs benedict. We went to Denny’s in Kapolei but it was super crowded, so we went on to Ruby Tuesday.
Lou’s first cousins Mary Salas Chaco and Beda Coke came to visit their brother Larry (Encho) who lives here with his daughter. Mary came from Washington, Beda from Texas. The two of them stayed with us. We went to lunch at Jade Dynasty at Ala Moana Mall to meet Encho and his daughter.
Lou and I took a drive today for her Pokemon Community Day thing. We first ate lunch at Dai Ichi Ramen, and then drove into town afterwards. We stopped by Jack in the Box in Kapahulu to get shakes, then stopped at Foodland in Ewa Town center to pick up stuff to make Beef Shank Kadu. I guess appetite-wise I’m doing okay today.
It took twice as long by the shop, but painting was completed. I’m not really happy with the job, especially after Justin came over to check it out and pointed out so many “amateur” work evidence… they didn’t do a very good or complete/extensive job cutting and buffing. They didn’t buff to the edges/corners of many panels.…
