Yesterday as I was on my way in to work, on the radio the news that former CJCS and SecState Gen Colin Powell has died of complications from COVID-19. He was fully vaccinated but had underlying conditions. He was CJCS during the Gulf War days, which is my reflection point of his career since I was active duty then as Operation Desert Shield turned into Desert Storm. Rest in peace Gen Powell.
