There’s already mention of what the blog/site is for, or what I use it for, what might be of interest to others, dependent upon reader user group.
I’m originally from Toto (Guam), born and raised. I went to Wettengel Elem (when it was in Mongmong) and PC Lujan Elem; GW Junior High renamed Agueda Johnston Junior High while I was there; San Vicente Middle School for 9th grade; GW Senior High. After screwing up my junior year and bailing from trying to finish my senior year thru evening classes, I enlisted in the Army and ended up getting my GED and doing a full 20-year career. My better half Lou (Lourdes Salas) is from Maga, Mangilao (family originally from Agana Heights). She went to Agana Heights Elem; Price Elem; PC Lujan Elem; San Vicente Middle School; Notre Dame High School. I’ve known her thru common neighbors/relatives since we were around second grade, started going out (going steady) in the 9th grade. We married two years after I was in the Army. Kids followed, etc.. Since retiring from the Army we’ve settled in Hawaii pretty much, tho my heart will forever want to go back home (Guam). Won’t happen, but…
