Not a recent clip. Just recently seen by me. I guess there is no OSHA in this case, ‘coz this would definitely be a candidate for investigation!

Sweet Caroline
This is another one of those songs from childhood memory that, whenever I listen to it, takes me back to those memories locked deep within the recesses of my mind… to a safe and comforting place. A place where life was so innocent, funloving, carefree. The days that I oftentimes long to go back to…… Continue Reading “Sweet Caroline”
Esprit de Signal Corps
Probably a ‘who cares’ for most. But if you’re a signal soldier at heart, especially one whose career has been the Army Signal Corps, nothing more need be said. It just evokes pride and a smile.

Signal soldier
Patch on my shoulder
Pick up your weapon and follow me

Why Dafuq would I answer a call from Africa????
Africa, meaning Ethiopia, Uganda, etc., or even other off the wall places? Especially at odd hours of the day? Are scammers stupid? But yeah it’s been happening more and more as of late. To me, to Lou, to others. Then we’ve also had calls to the landline where caller ID shows it’s coming from… Continue Reading “Why Dafuq would I answer a call from Africa????”
A’anuk’ha na kumeke bihu yu
Yet another sign that we mofos are getting up there in age. So I spent today cleaning up after yesterday’s Easter party. Cleaning up, putting tables and benches away, moving all the stuff back into the lanai. That, to include the dumbbell rack and dumbbells, and the incline bench. That’s been the… Continue Reading “A’anuk’ha na kumeke bihu yu”
Easter celebration
Another annual tradition that grows each year. Easter lunch party (for the adults) and egg hunt for the kids at our house. Sunday lunch party and followed by egg hunt for the keiki. A few of the guys from work came. Erik Guzman and family, Curtis Weatherwax and family, Dominic Castro and family, Duc Phung and his… Continue Reading “Easter celebration”
We’re getting old, our classmates are passing away :(
Reality is most definitely staring us in the face as we grow older.
From SVS ’75 9th grade, Richard Marques passed away in February. Then this month Ronnie Lizama. Also from Lou’s NDHS ’78 class, Marlene Baleto passed away this past week.
Prayer warriors are needed…… Continue Reading “We’re getting old, our classmates are passing away :(”
Atan Jesuchristo
I was sitting out back in the lanai, having a smoke, and for some reason I went into reminiscing of childhood days. I mean 7-10 year old days. Memories of going to church (mom and dad used to send us to church, walking distance, every Sunday) came into mind. And, of all the church songs and hymms sang, the one that … Continue Reading “Atan Jesuchristo”
SR-71 cockpit (allegedly anyway)
I’ve never been inside the cockpit of a blackbird so don’t know for sure, but the post said it was of an SR-71.
I remember the few times when these birds would be on the ground at some airport and everyone would want to catch a glimpse of it, of which more often than not that glimpse would only be as they… Continue Reading “SR-71 cockpit (allegedly anyway)”
